NV.mobi Keeps On Going Strong

“Our friends at the Nevada Commission on Tourism just sent us a cool group of photos, showing the promotion they’re doing for http://nv.mobi at McCarran International Airport. Because of how the airport’s traffic flow is designed, these posters will likely be seen by practically everyone coming into Las Vegas in the months ahead.”

Great to see this level of promotion. In my personal vision of the mobile internet and .mobi ’s place in it , i see this level of promotion replicated across the world. Because .mobi is truly global like .com, every country will have pockets of promotion like this. Although the awareness and promotion won’t reach the same levels as the host cctld, certainly not in the early years, those cctlds are limited, by their very nature to just that country. It doesn’t take a deal of imagination to see that .mobi can far outperform any cctld, in time to come.

Ask an average person in Canada if they know or have heard of .de, or an average person in Finland knows what a .gr is.
