I am seeing more and more big gambling sites go .mobi for their mobile sites.

I came across another biggie: paddypower.mobi

Paddy Power is a hugely successful betting company, one of the punters favourites because of their fast payouts and favourable odds. Their pc site - paddypower.com is a google page rank 5, alexa ranked 8,600 site!

Promotion? You bet!

They are promoting the .mobi site in a number of ways. Here is a link on google when looking for the mobile site: PaddyPower.com

Here is a screenshot, notice the paddypower.mobi link at bottom next to mobile betting. This takes you to the pure mobile site viewable only via a phone or emulator:

Also, Paddy Power are taking no chances. If you go to paddypowermobile.com you will see a fabulous promotion for paddypower.mobi, there can be no mistake this is the mobile betting site they are running with . I count 6 mentions of paddypower.mobi on just this one page. See screenshot below:
