Toys.com sells for $5.1 million - BBC Report

It is common knowledge amongst the domainer community that Toys.com just sold for over $5 million to Toys R Us.

What was rather nice was this article I found by the BBC, always nice when the mainstream media report stories like this. When even overpriced  art and rare red diamonds are failing to sell to the uber rich in public auctions, great to see the top end domain market still fairing extremely well in almost unprecedented financial times.

Also congrats to Ron Jackson of DNJournal.com for getting quoted and being prominently mentioned. It’s only right Ron should be consulted as he has done so much for the industry and is our one true ‘reporter’. Everyone else is a bloggist, lol. I’ll pass on sedo. Nora is a very nice lady though!
