The short domain market is heating up!

It’s not a new thing, Large & small Companies alike have always liked short easy to remember names.

Some examples:

dell
ford
ball
saks
amex

That principle has stayed with web 2.0 firms like Bebo.com

Of course Bebo.com recently sold to AOL for $850,000,000

The most desirable Names tend to be 4 letter domains. There are approximately 500k 4 Letter .com domains in existence. All have been registered, the question is can you obtain a quality domain?

The top of the tree domains in this genre are 4 letter words, like LIVE.COM , or GAME.COM

Of course even undeveloped these domains are worth millions, for numerous reasons. They will get huge type in traffic and earn a good income purely from that on ppc (pay-per-click advertising).

Properly directed onto a developed site this traffic could convert into sales and therefore much higher incomes, along with regular and increasing traffic and rankings.

These type of domains don’t have to come in the Character Vowel Character Vowel .com format. These tend to be the best and most desirable, but there are many different variations which we will go into later.

Here’s some more examples of famous 4 letter brands:
